Jim Noble

Jim Noble is one of the Verizon Pit Reporters on PRN's coverage of NASCAR Sprint Cup and Nationwide series racing. A native of Needham, Massachusetts, Jim has more than 20 years of broadcasting experience, starting with local television stops in Macon and Savannah, GA, and Rochester, NY before coming to Charlotte in 1995 to cover the Carolina Panthers and Charlotte Hornets for WBTV (CBS). Jim then became a regional and national correspondent for Fox Sports Net in 1999, and began covering NASCAR full-time for Fox Sports Net and NASCAR Media Group in 2003. He joined the PRN team in 2007.

Jim also serves as the "RaceBuddy" pit reporter on TNT and NASCAR.com during the summer portion of the season. During the six-week stretch, Jim provides on-camera pit reports, adds information on Twitter, Facebook and MySpace, and does pre and post-race interviews.

A graduate of Washington and Lee University and a five-time Associated Press award winner, Jim lives in Charlotte with his wife and son.
