2. WHO CAN ENTER? NO PURCHASE NECESSARY: Open only to individuals who are 18 years of age or older and are legal residents of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia. Employees of Speedway Motorsports, Inc., The Performance Racing Network, WIX Filtration Corp LLC, Atlanta Motor Speedway, Inc., Bristol Motor Speedway Inc., Charlotte Motor Speedway, LLC, Las Vegas Motor Speedway Inc., Speedway Sonoma, LLC aka Infineon Raceway, Texas Motor Speedway Inc, NASCAR, its advertising and promotion agencies, their respective parent companies, affiliates, agents, retailers, subsidiaries, sales representatives and/or distributors and their immediate families, (parents, children, spouse, siblings) and those living in the same household (whether related or not) as such individuals are not eligible. Void in Puerto Rico and where ever prohibited by law.
3. HOW TO ENTER: Enter at participating WIX Filters Distributors shops and dealers, or at any promotional participants of the PRN’s Wine & Dine Sonoma Sweepstakes by completing an official entry form (available while supplies last) and depositing it in the designated receptacle, or on-line at www.goprn.com, www.gospeedway.com or www.wixfilters.com. Not all retailers may be participating. Entrants may also enter by printing their name, address, telephone number and age on a 3” x 5” card and mailing to: “PRN’s Wine & Dine Sonoma Sweepstakes” PO Box 610 Harrisburg, NC 28075. No purchase necessary. Limit one (1) entry per person/email address.
Sweepstakes begins on February 22, 2010 and ends on December 31, 2010 at 11:59 PM EST. ALL ENTRIES MUST BE RECEIVED BY December 31, 2010 by 11:59 PM (EST).
No illegible, incomplete, forged or altered entries or mechanically reproduced mail-in entries will be accepted. Sponsor and judges not responsible for late, lost, stolen, damaged, garbled, incomplete, misaddressed, postage due, or misdirected entries or mail, for errors, omissions, interruptions, deletions, defects or delays in operations or transmission of information, in each case whether arising by way of technical or other failures or malfunctions of computer hardware, software, communications devices, or transmission lines or data corruption, theft, destruction, unauthorized access to or alteration of entry materials, loss or otherwise. Sponsor disclaims any liability for damage to any computer system resulting from participation in, or accessing or downloading information in connection with this Sweepstakes. Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate or suspend this Sweepstakes and award all prizes from among eligible entries received as of the time of such action should any virus bug, unauthorized human intervention or other causes beyond Sponsor’s control corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes. Each on-line entry will be deemed to have been submitted by the record holder of the e-mail account from which the entry originated. Entrant agrees that the information supplied on the Entry Form or on SMI Sponsor websites may be used for marketing purposes.
ANY ATTEMPT BY AN INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATLEY DAMAGE OR TAMPER WITH WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES IS IN VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK REMEDIES AND DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, INCLUDING CRIMINAL PROSECUTION; AND IF SUCH INDIVIDUAL ENTERS THE SWEEPSTAKES HE/SHE WILL BE DISQUALIFYIED.
4. SELECTION OF THE WINNER: Winner will be selected in a random drawing on or about January 18, 2011 from all eligible entries received. The judge who pulls the winning names will be the official conductor of the drawing. The judge’s decisions are final and binding in all respects. By participating, entrants agree to abide by and be bound by the Official Rules and the decisions of the judges. Actual means of notification to be determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion.
5. PRIZE/APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUE (ARV)
One (1) Grand Prize: A trip for two (2) to be taken during 2011 to the Infineon Raceway for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Race, (collectively the “Event”). Grand Prize package includes: Two (2) suite tickets, cold garage and pit passes to the Infineon Raceway for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Race; Two (2) round trip coach class airline tickets to the event from a major commercial airport near winner’s residence to San Francisco, CA; Four (4) night hotel accommodations; Helicopter to and from track for NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Race; Transportation to and from airport and for Wine Tour, dinner in San Francisco in the form of a gift card for $300.00, and $5,000 cash. (Airport carrier to be determined by Sponsor) Date of event subject to change. All travel must be taken on dates specified by Sponsor or prize will be forfeited and may be awarded to an alternate winner. No alternate travel date available. No responsibility is assumed by Sponsor for any travel delays or travel cancellations.) (Total ARV $21,700.00. The actual retail value may vary depending on point of departure and airfare/hotel rate fluctuations.)
ODDS OF WINNING: Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.
6. SWEEPSTAKES NOTIFICATIONS: Winner will be notified by phone or mail.
7. WINNER'S RESPONSIBILITIES: Winner is solely responsible for all other expenses not specifically set forth herein, including meals, gratuities, and other incidentals. A credit card is required for hotel check-in. A form of government-issued photo identification is required for air travel and Event registration. Sweepstakes winner will be solely responsible for all taxes on Sweepstakes Prize and will receive an IRS Form 1099 for the retail value of Sweepstakes Prize.
Grand Prize winner will be required to sign an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability Release and a Publicity Release (except where prohibited by law) within 14 days of prize notification letter being sent. Prize may be awarded to alternate winner if affidavit is not returned within 14 days after mailing to winner or if prize notification letter or prize is returned as undeliverable. Except where prohibited, participation in Sweepstakes constitutes winner’s consent to Sponsor’s use of winner’s name, likeness, voice, opinions, hometown and state for promotional purposes in any media, worldwide, without further payment or consideration. Guests of winner will be required to sign a Liability Release and Publicity release (except where prohibited) before travel will be booked. If any guest is a minor, guest’s parent or legal guardian must sign release for guest, and must accompany minor guest on prize travel as one of the other guests (unless winner is guest's parent or legal guardian).
Grand Prize is non-transferable. No prize substitution will be given. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize (or any part of the prize) with a prize of equal or greater value. By entering you agree to accept the whole prize. Any difference between stated approximate value and the actual value of sweepstakes prize will not be awarded. If you can not accept the whole prize you must forfeit the prize and another winner may be drawn, time permitting.
8. RELEASE: By participating, entrants agree, and by accepting prize, winner agrees, to release and hold harmless Speedway Motorsports, Inc, and all of it’s affiliate and subsidiary companies (Including without limitation, Speedway Properties Company, LLC. aka, The Performance Racing Network), WIX Filtration Corp LLC, and other participating PRN’s Wine & Dine Sonoma Sweepstakes promotional participants and their respective companies, affiliates, agents and subsidiaries, and the officers, directors, shareholders, agents and employees of any of the above entities organizations from any and all liability, loss or damage incurred by participating in these Sweepstakes and/or the awarding, receipt, acceptance, possession or use/misuse of the prize, prize-related travel or attendance at Event. By accepting prize, winner acknowledges the inherently dangerous nature of attending the Event.
9. WINNERS LIST/RULES REQUESTS: For the name of Grand Prize Winner, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope by February 1, 2011 to: “PRN’s Wine & Dine Sonoma Sweepstakes,” PO Box 600 Concord, NC 28026. For a copy of the official rules, send a self-addressed stamped envelope by January 1, 2011 to: “PRN’s Wine & Dine Sonoma Sweepstakes” PO Box 600 Concord, NC 28026.
10. MODIFICATION: Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify, cancel, postpone, delay, suspend and/or terminate this Sweepstakes game and/or Event in whole or in part in the event that the Sweepstakes game is not capable of running as planned or as intended by these Official Rules by reason of any of the technical or other disabling causes as described in Rule 3 or other causes that, in the sole discretion of the Sponsor, impair, corrupt or interrupt the administration, fairness, security or integrity or proper play of the Sweepstakes game, including without limitation, hurricane, fire, flood, epidemic, earthquake, explosion, labor dispute or strike, act of God or public enemy, war, terrorist threat or activity or insurrection. In the event of cancellation, Sponsor shall award the Sweepstakes Prize (or a prize of equal or greater value) in a random drawing from all eligible, non-suspect entries received as of the time of cancellation. Sweepstakes are initially provided by Sponsors to entrant under the name “PRN’s Wine & Dine Sonoma Sweepstakes” but the name of the Sweepstakes is subject to change at the discretion of the sponsors and any such name change shall be posted along with the rules at www.goprn.com. Additional companies or organizations may join in sponsoring the Sweepstakes and such additions shall likewise be posted at goprn.com.
